My Favourite Perfumes

It's been quite a while since I last posted! The truth is, I've been so busy with my summer semester before my sophomore year of college that I haven't gotten around to sitting down and writing a proper post. However, I finally found the time to do so, which I'm extremely happy and proud about. Without further ado, I present to you my perfume collection, which consists of these pretty little bottles already on their way to being empties.

1. Peace, Love, and Juicy by Juicy Couture

This is heaven. I don't know about you, but I'd love to smell like heaven every day. I looked it up on Fragantica, and saw that the ingredients of the perfume are of fruity and floral scents. The concoction was created by Givaudan perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux. It contains notes of Meyer lemon, wild hyacinth, sweet apple and black currant buds absolute in a top. A heart blooms with floral kisses of Sambac jasmine absolute, star magnolia, Malibu poppy, honeysuckle and linden blossom, while a base features iris root extract, patchouli blossom and sensual musk which rounds up the composition as a non-chalant embrace.

2. Viva la Juicy by Juicy Couture

When my mom and I were out shopping and sniffing every single Juicy scent ever created (which garnered us some weird looks from several of the other customers in the perfume section), we decided that Viva la Juicy is the teen version of Peace, Love, and Juicy. I fell for the scent, which caused me to get another one in a sample size.

3. Eau D'Hadrien Eau de Toilette Spray by Annick Goutal

J'aime Annick Goutal! If you wanna smell like a french girl, I suggest you pick up this scent. For a time, I obsessed over everything Parisian (I might still actually be in that stage and I think it will never pass). This scent is a bit of a fresher and citrusy scent that I just instantly fell in love with. It made me smell like a sweet blooming garden. Can we just take a moment to appreciate the bottle of this perfume as well? C'est magnifique! It's so simple yet sophisticated.

4. Amethyst by Bulgari

This was a present from my mother. I believe it was for my 16th birthday and I've loved it ever since for its unique scent. It's darker in comparison to my previously mentioned perfumes. Whenever I put it on, I immediately think of the woods, flowers, and strangely, Victorian women in a powder room.
